Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: July 15, 2026

At the O'ahu Tennis Association (OTA), we are committed to providing exceptional tennis and pickleball experiences while maintaining fair scheduling for our coaches, court partners, and guests. We appreciate your understanding of the following policy.

Private Lessons

• Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the scheduled lesson will receive the option of:
  A full lesson credit toward a future lesson, or
  A rescheduled lesson at no additional charge.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson are non-refundable and will be charged in full.
• No-shows are considered completed lessons and are not eligible for refunds or credits.

Group Clinics & Classes

• Group clinics and classes are non-refundable.
• Participants who cancel at least 24 hours in advance may receive a class credit if space and scheduling permit.
• Missed classes and no-shows are not eligible for refunds or make-up sessions.

Lesson Packages

• Lesson packages are non-refundable once purchased.
• Any unused lessons remain available for the duration of the package's expiration period, if applicable.
• Lesson packages may not be transferred without prior written approval from OTA management.

Weather Policy

Safety is our highest priority.

• If a lesson or clinic is canceled by OTA due to rain, lightning, unsafe court conditions, or other weather-related circumstances, participants will receive:
  A full lesson credit, or
  The opportunity to reschedule.
• Refunds are generally not issued for weather cancellations unless OTA is unable to provide a reasonable make-up opportunity.

Medical Emergencies

Refunds or credits may be considered for documented medical emergencies that prevent participation. Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by OTA management.

Travel & Vacation Changes

If travel plans change unexpectedly, please notify OTA as soon as possible. When reasonable notice is provided, OTA may issue a lesson credit at management's discretion.

Program Cancellations by OTA

If OTA cancels a lesson, clinic, or program for reasons other than weather, participants will receive the option to:

• Reschedule,
• Receive a full account credit, or
• Receive a full refund.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash except where required by law.

Payment Policy

All lessons, clinics, and programs must be paid in full prior to participation unless otherwise approved by OTA.
