About OTA's Founder
The O'ahu Tennis Association was established in 2019 on the Island of O'ahu. Our core mission is to provide Tennis and Pickleball to all socioeconomic groups on the Island of O'ahu and outer Islands through World Class training and developmental pathways.
Our World Class Programs and events are designed to improve every level of player with World Class Professional development. We believe that we can make a difference in the lives of those who exhibit a talent in either sport. We also provide scholarships to selected players on O'ahu and surrounding Island's of Hawai'i.
D. Yhale Scott is the Founder of O'ahu Tennis Association, O'ahu Sports Academy, LLC. and the CEO of O'ahu Tennis Academy, LLC. He is a graduate of UCLA with a Degree in Psychology, played in many USTA Pro Circuit Events, coached and trained many world class professional players on the ATP, WTA Tours, nationally ranked from all over the world for more than 30 years.

Nikola is a former University Of Hawai'i standout in singles and doubles for the UH Women's Tennis Team. She is from Slovakia and graduated from UH with a degree in Exercise Science and minor in Business and pursuing her Masters Degree from UH.

An amazing coach with over 16 years of teaching experience and has competed professionally for 10 years from juniors to the pro level. As a young athlete, She had an opportunity to be coached by some of the best coaches in the world. Her best competition results were victories on the ITF (International Tennis Federation) tournaments in both singles and doubles. While working as a coach, Ekaterina created a tennis school. In her school there were groups for children from 3 years old. level. For the last 5 years she has resumed my professional career and also started playing some beach tennis. My top ranking in beach tennis was #22 in the world. Ekaterina regularly competes in ITF Tournament throughout the year.

Yoshi joins OTA as an accomplished DIV 1 college player. Yoshi is a graduate of Chaminade University and has been playing Pickleball for several years reaching a 5.0 elite level.
